Menaul School is proud to announce that it has formed a partnership with Mr. Shahinur Islam of the Sabela Charitable Foundation, headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Working in concert with our new partner institution, Menaul School will establish a system for Bangladeshi students to study a core American curriculum in parallel to their existing curriculum. The goal will be to provide an American college preparatory education to a developing nucleus of students in Bangladesh, charting a clear course to study in the United States of America.
Christopher Ferrara, Menaul’s International Program Coordinator, spoke on the subject, “Menaul School is excited to be working with Sabela, they have the expertise and connections necessary to allow us successful entrance to the rapidly developing South Asia region. Mr. Islam has a clear vision of preparing students in his home country to succeed in mind, body, and spirit. We’re honored to have the opportunity to help bring American personnel and American methodology to Bangladesh, a first for any school in the Southwest. By working with Sabela, we’re helping Menaul to continue its historical mission of bringing an elite college preparatory education to people throughout New Mexico, and around the world.”
The program is expected to open its doors to its first group of students in January of 2019.
