Tomas J. Garcia is a litigation associate at Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk P.A. in Albuquerque. His law practice includes a variety of commercial, healthcare, torts/personal injury, and natural resources litigation and he previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles W. Daniels on the New Mexico Supreme Court. He serves on the board of directors for the State Bar of New Mexico Young Lawyers Division, the public service arm of the State Bar, and he coordinates and regularly participates in service projects, such as drafting wills for emergency first responders, preparing advanced healthcare directives and power of attorney documents for low-income senior citizens, and mentoring first-year law students at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Tomas received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center; his master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; and his bachelor’s degree from Yale University. Tomas is a graduate of the Menaul School Class of 2001.
