Christopher Schifani was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but he grew up in Albuquerque and graduated high school from Albuquerque Academy. After high school, he studied Latin and Greek at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. After graduating from college, he spent the next nine years living and studying Chinese in Taiwan, where he earned a Master’s degree in Translation from National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei.
In addition to his love of languages, he enjoys reading, singing, and writing. He loves learning and sharing his knowledge with others, so he is very excited to have joined Menaul School in 2015. He feels honored to have the opportunity to join the Menaul community and looks forward to working and learning together with faculty, staff, students, and parents as the year progresses.
In 2018, Christopher completed a Certificate program in College Counseling through UCLA extension. He also holds Certifications in Teaching TOEFL Preparation from the Canadian College of Educators and in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Toronto.
