Athletic Director, Upper School Physical Education Teacher, and Head Basketball Coach
Gary has a family consisting of his wife, Felicia, a daughter, Charli, a son, Luke, and their youngest son, Max. Felicia and Gary lived in Gilbert, AZ, before moving back to Albuquerque where Felicia’s family live.
Gary’s coaching experience consists of two years at Mingus High School, five years at Skyline High School in Mesa, AZ, four years at Mesa High School in Mesa, AZ, six years at Cleveland High School, and he is in his fifth year at Menaul School.
Gary believes all stops have led him to great opportunities of learning and competing with and against great coaches and players. He feels very lucky and looks forward to the upcoming year at Menaul School as a coach and as Athletic Director.
With Gary as their esteemed leader, the Menaul School basketball team has won 60 games the last 3 years, are 2016 district 2a-2 champions, 2017 district championship runners up, have made the playoffs for the last 3 years, and have won the first round the last 2 years.
Gary Boatman joined Menaul School in 2013.
