English as a Second Language Teacher
Jonathan has recently joined the Menaul School (2014) community as the Dual Diploma Coordinator. In addition to helping to facilitate Menaul’s Dual Diploma Program in China, Jonathan will also coordinate academic opportunities for our International students at Menaul and assist the Office of Student Development with activities for all of our students. Jonathan has a rich background as an educator, serving as an English, Bible and World History teacher locally. He also taught, coached and was a mid-level administrator for 11 years at international schools in China. He is an experienced ESL instructor and also proficient in Mandarin. He holds a degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, GA and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. Most importantly, Jonathan is a great communicator, enthusiastic educator, and community-oriented person. He, his wife Alyssa, and their three children are excited to be a part of the Menaul School community.
