Maggie Beck was born in the Chicago area and moved to Albuquerque when she was in grade school. Her career background includes being an owner of an office furniture company with her husband in Tucson and Albuquerque for 20 years. She also worked as an Independent Contractor for a local educational consulting firm where she worked primarily with Native American communities.
In 2011, Maggie furthered her career by getting her Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from CNM. She began working at Menaul School in May, 2013, as Assistant Chef in the cafeteria. Recently, when the Development Associate position became available at the school she made the decision to apply for the job because of her extensive background in fundraising, event planning and community outreach. Maggie also brings with her experience with the Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center where she served as President of the Advisory Board, a Community Educator, and a Volunteer Advocate.
Maggie enjoys exploring the country in her RV with her husband of 30 years, reading, kayaking, swimming, yoga, golf, knitting, puzzles, yard games, dancing, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
