Sue was raised on a small dairy farm in central Maine, moving to Albuquerque, NM, in 1967. She attended APS’s Jackson Middle School and Manzano High School and graduated in 1971 from Valley High School. Sue attended New Mexico Highlands University and then worked for local newspapers and cable television companies for some 20 years, working in advertising and customer service and ending as a vice-president of BCI Communications. Returning to UNM to attain a long-planned for teaching degree, she graduated in 1993 from UNM with a B.Ed. in Social Studies/U.S. History.
Sue has taught at Menaul School since 1993, serving as a Social Studies Chair, Yearbook teacher, SOC leader, Student Council advisor and 6th through 12th grade Social Studies teacher.
