Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Chelsea Dranichak grew up in a suburb of Baltimore, MD. After finishing high school, she attended Grove City College in Grove City, PA, and graduated in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics. In addition, she holds a Pennsylvania teaching certificate to teach math to students in grades 7 – 12. Afterward, Chelsea attended graduate school at Clemson University and graduated with an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences, with a concentration in Statistics. She then taught Upper School math courses and coached Cross Country and Track & Field for four years at Spartanburg Day School, an independent school in Spartanburg, SC. She loved the warm school community and diversity of thoughts and interests that students brought to the classroom.
Chelsea and her husband just moved to Albuquerque in July 2018 and look forward to exploring the city! In her spare time, Chelsea likes to hike to waterfalls with her husband, and read and run. She looks forward to joining the Menaul School community this year!
