The Menaul School seeks a dynamic and forward thinking candidate for the position of Information Technology (IT) Manager. This is a manager level position reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations. As the leader in the development of innovative technologies that support teaching, learning, student life and administrative operations, the IT Manager will possess in-depth technical expertise and will provide strategic leadership, planning, and management to all areas of information technology. The IT Manager will develop and oversee campus-wide technology policies, procedures, services and facilities. The IT Manager will work collaboratively with academic leadership to develop effective strategies for integrating technology into the curriculum. Qualified candidates will have a passion for technology and education, and proven leadership, management, and decision making skills. The IT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at Menaul School. This includes directing all IT operations to meet staff, faculty, and student requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. The IT Manager must be able to understand, design, install, modify, maintain and administer modern computer.  Also responsible for the oversight of documents storage, printing equipment, and services. Qualified candidates will teach a class or two on programming or coding.


The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager and will have the ability to develop and lead strategic and operational initiatives; will have proven supervisory and staff development skills; and will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills. College degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of technology management experience required.


This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  This schedule would be flexible and would vary based on scheduled events occurring outside of these hours, i.e. graduation, Homecoming, etc.

Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. Responsibilities begin June 1, 2018.
