Passport to World-Class Education Gala February 18th

Join us for our 3rd Annual Passport to World-Class Education Gala! This year, our theme takes us back to our beginnings in Northern New Mexico. Join us, along with Master of Ceremonies, Albuquerque’s Inaugural Poet Laureate Hakim Bellamy (http://hakimbe.com/), for a cocktail reception, dinner, live and silent auctions, and dancing on Saturday, February 18th! RSVP by February 3rd to Maggie Beck at (505) 341-7220 or MBeck@nullMenaulSchool.com.

In honor of our very special alumni, a portion of the proceeds of each ticket purchased by an alum will go to the Alumni/Maria Cordova Andrews Legacy Scholarship, which has already helped four students! Make sure you let us know when you purchase your ticket that you are an alum.

Looking for an opportunity to help out? We need volunteers to help before, during, and after the event. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Kim Sanchez, (505) 341-7233 or KSanchez@nullMenaulSchool.com.

We are also looking for donations for our live and silent auctions. If you have items or services to donate, please contact Kim Sanchez, (505) 341-7233 or KSanchez@nullMenaulSchool.com.

A special thank you goes out to Doty’s Auction Service for generously donating their services for this fundraiser. Doty’s Auction Services has a weekly consignment auction. Check out their website – https://dotysauctionservice.hibid.com/.

Alumni/Maria Cordova Andrews Scholarship Benefits Students

The Menaul Allison James Alumni Association has teamed up with Maria Cordova Andrews, a teacher and counselor at Menaul for 40 years, to establish the Alumni/MCA Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship remains true to Menaul School’s roots, benefiting the populations who originally attended Menaul School: the Native American pueblo and Tribal people of New Mexico and Arizona, the Hispanic populations of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, California, and Eastern Texas, and other Native New Mexican populations. The funds raised so far for this scholarship have benefited four students this year! Thank you to everyone who has donated, and thank you Maria and the Menaul/Allison James Alumni Association, for your continued support and dedication to the students at Menaul School!

Menaul School receives $1.5 Million Donation

We are excited to announce that we have received a $1.5 million donation and capital matching fund, which will allow us to create an operating endowment, as well as providing a portion of the money needed for necessary improvements to campus buildings. Read about it in the Albuquerque Journal:
