About Sara Franklin:
Sara has 2 daughters, a son, and 2 grandchildren ages 3 and 5. She loves to hike, read biographies, bake, draw, travel and spend time with her adult children and grandchildren.
Sara has been teaching math to middle schoolers for 35+ years. She loves their curiosity, open mindedness for learning, perseverance when things get challenging, and their sense of humor.
Sara loves breaking down complicated math problems into easy manageable steps and watching the lightbulb turn on for her students.
Sara has a BA in Education, a Computer Science and Technology endorsement, and her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
The community, the faculty and the students are wonderful and I have always felt so welcome here.
