Dear Menaul Families,
As much as it hurts to give up an incredibly rich learning experience, we are canceling our Upper School Mission Week next week and will have classes as normal, with a slight adjustment.
Upper School students will follow the Middle School’s calendar, with no school for students on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 to allow for teacher in-service time and Middle School conferences on the 13th. Regular classes for Upper School will resume on Tuesday, March 17th.
Other COVID-19 news:
- We have implemented advanced hygiene and disinfecting strategies in all areas of campus, including classrooms, dormitories, public areas, and food service.
- The faculty are preparing to deliver online instruction should we need to temporarily close the school. Even if the school is closed for daily classes and activities, boarding students will remain on campus and we are prepared to support them with meals, outdoor activities, and time for classwork.
- We are discussing the cancelation or modification of boarding students’ spring break trip to prevent disease transmission.
