The Roeslers visited Spain as a graduation trip for Ben (’23) and to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
It was a dream come true for Ms. Roesler to take her family to the country where she studied abroad in 1995.
They flew into Madrid and visited the Reina Sofia Art Museum. Then, they took a high speed train to Barcelona and spent five days there soaking up the culture and getting a good dose of Gaudí architecture. Next, they drove to Granada to tour the Alhambra and ended their trip in Sevilla staying in a quaint AirBnB in the old city.
A highlight for Ben was trying various paellas and tapas while Summer and Alex loved visiting Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. Ms. Roesler enjoyed shopping (the shoes!) and practicing her Spanish.
