I was born and reared in Southern Colorado. I received a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Psychology from Adam State College in Alamosa, Colorado. In 1963 my husband and I moved our family to Southern California, where I taught elementary school for the Little Lake City School District in Santa Fe Springs for 38 years. I worked part time for Cerritos Community College teaching ESL and Citizenship classes for six years. In 2006, I moved to Albuquerque to be near my mother and my four sisters. I attend Second Presbyterian Church and serve on the Christian Education Committee. I’m a member of the Educational Networking Committee for the Presbytery of Santa Fe.
I have served on the Advisory Board of Menaul Historical Library for several years. I have served as secretary, member of the Building & Planning Committee, Chairperson of the Public Relations & Promotion Committee, and presently serve as Chair of the Advisory Board.
On Thursdays, you will find me at the library where I’m one of many dedicated volunteers.
