Update: December 5th, 2023

Dear Members of the Menaul Community,

I am pleased to report that our Head of School search process is moving forward and as we head into the Christmas season, I wanted to give an update.

Over the past several months, the Search Committee, in partnership with our consultants from Carney Sandoe and Associates, has seen a very strong pool of talented candidates with an impressive breadth of experience from all over the country. The quality of the candidate pool has benefitted from the reputation of the school, as well as the significant and thoughtful input provided by the entire Menaul community.

After reviewing dozens of resumes and having thoughtful discussions, seven candidates were interviewed by the Search committee. Following these interviews, the committee has selected three excellent candidates from this group to bring to the Menaul campus for in person interviews as our finalists. These finalists will each be on campus for a two day visit that will include meeting with representatives from administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni.

On behalf of the Search committee, we thank you again for your support and engagement in the process. As always, if you have any questions or feedback please feel free to contact me at micaela.briggs@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Micaela Briggs

Chair, Search Committee
