Peter J. Snow operates his own healthcare consulting practice and serves part time as a Senior Associate with BDC Advisors providing strategy counsel to multi-hospital systems and integrated delivery systems.
From 1983 thru 2010 he served as Senior Vice President of Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque New Mexico. He led planning and strategic development for Presbyterian’s integrated delivery system including its provider-sponsored health plan. Prior to joining Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Mr. Snow was a Senior Associate and Principal with the consulting firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton and a Principal with Herman Smith Associates in Chicago. Mr. Snow served in the Peace Corps.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitman College and his Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Mr. Snow served on the Providence Health System Board for two years, beginning in 2004 and was also a member of the Strategic Development Committee. He was appointed to the Board of Providence Health & Services in 2006 and chairs the Quality and Patient Safety Improvement Committee and also serves on the Board’s Governance Committee.
Personal interests include mentoring young professionals and international students, reading, travel, photography and sports. He and his wife of 39 years are regular attendees at Lobo men’s and women’s basketball games. They have two daughters Jackie a UNM grad and resident of Albuquerque and Sarah a recent graduate in graphic design from DePaul University in Chicago.
