Dear Menaul School Alumni, Community, and Supporters,
It is with immense joy and pride that I write to you today in my new capacity as Annual Funds, Donor Relations, and Events Manager in the Office for Institutional Advancement at Menaul School. As a former board member, an alumnus, and someone whose family’s roots are deeply intertwined with this esteemed institution, I am honored and grateful to return to Menaul School in a role that allows me to give back to a community that has shaped me in countless ways. Menaul School has always been more than a mere educational institution to me–it’s a place where dreams are nurtured and realized. Being on campus and seeing the light shining in our students has given me a renewed sense of hope and joy for the future of the school.
This upcoming Giving Tuesday—a day dedicated to global generosity—marks the start of a new chapter for Menaul School.
I have been privileged to witness firsthand the incredible transformations that the generosity and support of this community can bring to our school.In particular, our international education focus brought two incredible students, Elaina Ortiz-Cerno and Mikayla Sierra, to Kenya as part of the AFS Faces of America and Roadrunner scholarship programs. On Saturday, Nov. 18th, two more students were selected for this summer’s program. Our exceptional students are becoming even more well-rounded through academic activities such as Model UN, Business Club, and the Petroglyph Press, in addition to our outstanding athletics programming.
The traditions and values of Menaul School resonate within each one of us, and it’s in our hands to carry this legacy forward. I invite you to consider supporting the school as I have been inspired to do by contributing to our initiatives that empower future generations of Menaul students.
