Upper School Director
Troy is in his ninth year at Menaul and first year as Upper School Director. Prior to coming to Menaul, Troy served as the founding Executive Director of Educate New Mexico (ENM), a position he held for seven years. ENM is a non-profit organization that provides school choice scholarships to students from families with modest incomes.
Before his work with ENM, Troy taught and coached high school students in the public schools of Colorado for 11 years, then moved to Arkansas. There he worked in training and development for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., while pursuing his Masters in History at the University of Arkansas. Following his tenure with Wal-Mart, Troy worked as the Program Director for Children First America, helping to start privately funded school choice programs across the country, one of which was Educate New Mexico.
Troy and his wife Toni have three children: Makenzi, a Registered Nurse at the University of Arkansas Medical School hospital; Kelsi, a freelance photo-journalist in Dallas, TX; and Levi, an emergency room technician.
